About the Job
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient service in a fast-paced medical environment in an outpatient setting. The Medical Assistant will work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standards of care and support for our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
  • Perform clinical tasks including taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and collecting medical histories.
  • Give immunizations and perform venipunctures
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, ensuring compliance with medical regulations.
  • Provide administrative support such as scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, and handling medical billing inquiries.
  • Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care instructions.
  • Utilize knowledge of anatomy to assist in procedures and communicate effectively with both patients and providers.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and clinical procedures is essential.
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems is advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to provide excellent patient service.
  • Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments
  • Certification from an accredited Medical Assistant program is preferred but not required.
  • A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations.
